Hi all, new to this sub. We are renovating our master bathroom and I've wanted hexagon tile in the shower pan for ages. We've got all of our other tile chosen, but can't pull the trigger on the hex tile. Most of what the big box stores have is polished. Can you put polished in as the shower floor? Does it get to be slippery? Does it need to be matte? Thanks! I've only ever done backsplashes and standard floors.

Today, I was minding my own business, alternating between swiping on tinder, eating my soup, and watching exorbitant amounts of HGTV. My beautiful little tortoiseshell cat was also very adamantly minding her own business. She wouldn't come up to me, and looking back, it may be because she had a storm that was brewing. I knew it was my sweet kitty. She did this to me, maybe not on purpose, but she did this to me. Hesitantly, and chastising my cat the entire way, I made my way to the litter box. I had to hunt for the pooper scooper, it had been pushed away. I had a ziplock bag ready, because this stink was no job for a Walmart bag, I was going to have to seal that foul odor to rot on its own in this airtight bag. Carefully, I sifted through her litter. She was watching me, unconcerned. Her beautiful yellow eyes were intently focused on my task. Perhaps, wondering "Why's my momma removing my beautiful and smelly turd? I wanted that." It didn't take long to run into this monstrosity. My cat, she is six pounds. I reckon she was the runt of the litter. But BOY CAN THIS LITTLE GIRL POOP. It was the consistency, and almost color of warm peanut butter. It stuck to the pooper scooper as it fell very slowly into the dismally small ziplock bag I was holding open. The smelly peanut butter poo, in all it's wonderful cat poop glory, decided that sticking to the pooper scooper wasn't enough, and it had to stick to my fingers too. I don't even know how, because I was allll clear and far away from it. But. It was unfortunately meant to be, perhaps God's way of telling me to wash my hands even if they didn't really need it. I removed the toxic waste from her litter box in it's entirety before thoroughly scrubbing my hands in the lukewarm sink water for at least five minutes, yelling at my cat for this monstrosity that she considers a poop the entire time. I lit a candle. Now my bathroom smells not like the devil's anus, but like cranberry Christmas smells. However, the memory still remains.

Hello! I am redoing my pink and purple nightmare bathroom in the next few weeks but I haven't been able to make my mind on what tiles I should use and how much of it I should use.
